These Terms of Service (Policies) describe the rules that apply to course registrations, cancellations, cancellations of orders, and related matters. By purchasing our online course, the student automatically agrees to the current policies in place as mentioned below.

English for Canada (the “company”) is an English language tutoring service offering online preparation courses for English proficiency tests. 

English for Canada is an Official Member of the CELPIP Network, certified by Prometric Testing.

The Students are consumers of English language lessons and instructional materials produced by English for Canada

The CELPIP self-study courses provided online by English for Canada are a series of self-study sessions designed and produced by the exam experts at English for Canada to prepare students for the CELPIP English proficiency test. 

Proprietary Rights: The CELPIP course and instructional materials developed by the company and all related proprietary rights are owned solely by English for Canada, and are protected by Canadian and international copyright and other intellectual property laws. The course and instructional material are provided for the sole use of the student registered in the course. The student shall not copy, reproduce, republish, translate, upload, post, publicly display, transmit, communicate or make any of the online material available to the public, or otherwise disclose or distribute the CELPIP course or instructional materials, in whole or in part, in any way or for any purpose whatsoever.  

User ID and Password – These are created by the student at time of registration to gain access to the Online Platform. The student agrees to keep their ID and password secure and not shared with others.

The Online Platform: Registration allows access to Thinkific’s platform where the student has the opportunity to review a detailed description of the online courses offered by English for Canada, before the student purchases the course. The information provided for reviewing includes the company’s name, website address, electronic mail address, description of the goods or services to be supplied under the contract, any relevant technical or system specifications (i.e.: the student is expected to have a computer capable of accessing the Internet, capable of playing media videos, voice, communicating over Internet, printing documents, and other computing capabilities), the price and currency in which amounts owing under the contract are payable, the form of delivery of the course materials, the cancellation, return, exchange, and refund policies, and any other information related to the courses and the contract. The student has access to the information described here, is allowed to retain and print this information, and has the opportunity to correct errors in the account profile.

These terms and agreements give access only to the specific course indicated in the registration and do not constitute a registration for a CELPIP Test neither do they signify a payment for the cost of such test. While we are confident this course will definitely help you achieve your goals, registration or completion of this course does not and cannot guarantee official band scores on the exam. English for Canada is not responsible or liable for any part of the student's immigration process, application, profile, or final results on any English proficiency exam. 

Prometric Testing Practice Tests: Enrollment for the CELPIP Complete Mastery Course exclusively includes 2 paid practice tests from Prometric Testing (Set 11). The student will receive a voucher code upon enrollment to gain access to their practice tests. If the student requests a refund, an amount of $40 will be deducted from the total refund. Ie. Practice tests are non-refundable. Access to the paid practice tests may be less than the total duration of the 1-year course due to the expiration dates Prometric testing places on their practice tests. We encourage students to take advantage of their practice tests as soon as they activate them. 

Test Bookings: As Official CELPIP Network Members, you can conveniently and safely book your test with Paragon Testing through our school. Kindly note that this course does not include the test fee. 

Payments may be made by bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal, and must be received in full prior to the course start date.

Access to the CELPIP Course instructional material starts as soon as the payment is received. At that time, the student receives the registration order receipt and a confirmation email with the link to the login page. The student can start the sessions and tasks at any time and in any sequence. The Dashboard page shows the percentage of tasks completed, indicating the portion of the self-study plan that the student has already used.

Registration Cancellation requested by the student

You may cancel the registration for the course of choice only in accordance with the terms stated in this Policy. We firmly stand by the quality of the content of these courses as well as the customer service that comes along with it. Our team will be here to guide and support you, and we are confident that you will feel much more confident and prepared for your exam after finishing this course. However, we want you to be completely satisfied.

Kindly note that a $20 refund fee will be deducted from the full amount, and if a CELPIP Practice Test voucher was received, an additional $40 fee will be reduced.
